And I couldn't be more displeased about the result.

The colours are very nice, I will be using them again, but the metal flake is uneven, the colour inconsistent and the runs, the horrible runs.

Apparently the pearl I used reacted with the gold and made sine of it run and bleed under my masking tape. And I completely blame my self. Old masking tape, coats that were FAR too heavy and cold working conditions.

That purple really is fantastic though.

Anyone interested in seeing the rest of the stable? Here's a teaser, the next project.

For some reason, I can see this being turned into a replica of the Driver's Ed car from Burnout 2...

The little car has seen a lot of track time. Its actually a Tamiya Mini underneath. An M05 Pro actually.

Hmm...taking that into consideration, maybe a Custom Compact replica instead? Though it doesn't look like getting a spoiler on there would be easy...

Hmm, theres a thought. The problem is, all these bodies are polycarbonate, can't really change the lines all that much.

A wing on the other hand is pretty easy. This Honda body came with a small wing that I almost immediately destroyed on the track. I can even buy carbon fibre wings.

Well, it doesn't have to be a perfect replica. Maybe some paint, custom and reproduction decals, and the wing.

The result would look more like a Forza replica than an exact copy of the car in the game, but that wouldn't be a bad thing, right?

Yeah, lets me put a spin on it. What body to start with though? Could check ProLine, HPI or Parma PSE...

The only burnout game i played was Revenge, you have a screen cap of the car?

Ohhh. I can work with that. I can probably hand mask the 'tears'. Once i can justify spending money I don't have on another RC that hasn't seen action in over 2 years.
